Water Fun

Family time in the water. It could be outdoors on a hot sunny day, or in a very well heated indoor room on a cold day.

If you have a huge heated jacuzzi in a large bathroom, the kids could play in there, with their water toys, and all, or just squirt water at one another with their hands, or just splash water having a whale of a time. If it is big enough, you could get into your swimsuit too and join them.

Lots of fun and laughter. Didn't someone say laughter is the best medicine?

Not everyone can afford a huge jacuzzi or a personal swimming pool.

An inflatable pool would do just as well. Kids can play outdoors in their inflatable pool in summer. When it gets cold, you can bring the pool indoors into a heated bathroom and kids can have their water play in there.

The really little ones could learn a lot from water play. Pouring water from one container to another. Pouring water into a container with holes.

 I know my kids childcare center has time for water play. They actually take out these huge inflatable pools. Each big enough to fit in an entire class of preschool kids. It is their favourite part of their childcare.
